Team Rebels clinched their second win in the APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament (AABT) 2nd Conference Women’s Division series against Dream Team, 41-33, on Saturday, December 12 at the APC Gymnasium.
Despite the Rebels win, the Dream Team claimed the championship, as they won the most number of games in the six-game series, with four.
Jen Francisco and Chloe Cambay had a better shooting night compared to their previous games as they scored 13 and 12 points, respectively. Danica Malanay also had a double-digit scoring output with 10 points. For the Dream Team, Casey Carrillo and Shana Santos led their team in scoring with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Dream Team started the game with only five players available, while the Rebels are well prepared as they have brought in seven players. The Rebels took control most of the game and broke it open in the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run.
