Warriors beats ASPAC Boys

Team Warriors defeated their 1st Conference Finals opponent ASPAC Boys by dominating almost the entire game, 75-69, for their first win in the APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament (AABT) eliminations last Saturday, September 19 at the APC Gymnasium.

First Conference MVP Archie Gratil of Team Warriors led all scorers with 25 points with 9 rebounds. His teammate, Jose Canseco also had a career game by having a double-double performance with 16 points and 18 rebounds.

For the ASPAC Boys, new recruit Lavesh Chadnani led his team in scoring with 16 points and contributing 9 rebounds. Mythical Five member Mark Pagaduan also helped ASPAC Boys with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Team Warriors was red-hot for almost the entire game, with having as much as a 20-point lead. ASPAC Boys however got a second wind in the fourth quarter and was able to tie the game at the five-minute mark of the fourth quarter.

However, they were unable to capitalize, as turnovers continued to haunt them. Team Warriors then made a 7-0 run going in to the final two minutes and regained a double-digit lead before ending the game.

The next game for the Warriors will be on October 3 against Team OGs while ASPAC Boys will face the Engineering All-Stars on the same day.
