The Asia Pacific College Rams Alumni Association (APCRAA) formally opened its Alumni Basketball Tournament’s 2016 season on Saturday, August 6, at the APC Gymnasium.
Six teams in the men’s division and three teams in the women’s division took part in the traditional parade of teams. Tournament Commissioner Dann Garcia addressed the players and thanked them for participating this year’s competition.
The commissioner also acknowledged the participation of the two guest women’s division teams: UP Boleras and Team Keng’s, which could hopefully develop the skills of the APC alumni team, Ram Squad.
The drawing of lots for the men’s and women’s division were held afterwards. The UP Boleras went up against the Ram Squad for the tournament’s curtain-raiser, while defending champion Team Warriors clashed with the ASPAC Boys in the second game.
