As per consultation with the different women’s APC alumni basketball teams. The following amendments will be part of the tournament rules for the upcoming 2016 APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament season:
- Guest teams and teams from others schools can participate in the women’s division if there will be at least two APC alumni teams that will join the tournament.
- APC alumni teams for women’s division can recruit undergraduate, student and non-APC alumni players. Up to a maximum three (3) non-APC alumni players can be accommodated per alumni team.
- The total number of alumni players should always be greater than the total number of undergraduate, student and non-APC alumni players. Example: A team with 15 players should have a minimum of eight (8) APC alumni players before they can recruit student, undergraduate and non-APC alumni players.
- All players will be checked for compliance of the undergraduate/student/non-APC alumni rule. Failure to declare these players will result in the forfeiture of the games where these players were fielded. All forfeited teams arising from official protests will be assessed a fine of P1000.00. Failure to comply will ban the team in joining any APCRAA tournament in the future.
