A high caliber guest team is about to join the Women’s Division of the APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament (AABT) 2016 season.
Team Keng’s have submitted their lineup to the AABT board last July 21. Headed by Ayet Keng, the team, known as the Admirals in the recently concluded Kings of the Court (KOTC) Season 5 Queens Division tournament, swept the elimination round en route to the championship, defeating Gerry’s Grill in the Finals.
The team will be composed of the Admiral’s core players Micmac Iida and Queens Division Finals MVP Jacquelyn Suarez.
Meanwhile, the APC alumni teams Rebels and Dream Team have merged to form a single alumni team to compete in this year’s tournament.
Another women’s division team, who also joined the KOTC tournament is expected to submit their requirements before the July 28 deadline.
