Another team who joined the recently concluded Kings of the Court (KOTC) Season 5 Queens Division will make its way to the APC hardcourt to join the upcoming APCRAA Alumni Baskebtall Tournament (AABT) Women’s Division.
The UP Boleras, known in KOTC as the RT Warriors, submitted their lineup to the AABT committee last July 28. Headed by Meilyn Ip, the Boleras will be composed mostly of former varsity basketball players from the University of the Philippines.
The Boleras finished the KOTC Queens Division with a 3-2 record and were one win short of making the finals.
The 2016 AABT season will start on Saturday, August 6, with a women’s division game serving as a curtainraiser after the opening ceremonies.
