Knights drag 2K15 to do-or-die Game 3
Team Knights forced a rubber match for the 2018 APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) championship by defeating Team 2K15 in Game 2 of their best-of-three finals series, 88-75, on Saturday, October 13 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
A third-quarter surge by Alex Tagle, who finished with 22 points (13 of which in the 3rd quarter), propelled the Knights to a double-digit margin, and held on to the lead by the final period.
Team Captain Jhonel de Luna topped the Knights in scoring with 24 points and 9 rebounds.
2K15 struggled in shooting, hitting only 18 out of 50 two-point field goals in the entire game. While Guess dela Cuesta and Archie Gratil scored 15 and 18 points respectively, Abe Tanco had his lowest scoring output this season with 15 points.
The third and deciding game of this championship series will be played on Saturday, October 20, 5:00 PM at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
