Tanco is first Rookie-MVP awardee, 2K15 sweeps individual honors in ABT Annual Awards

Abe Rashid Tanco of 2K15 was named the Most Valuable Player of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) 2018 season during the ABT Annual Awards on September 22, at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.

The awarding ceremonies was held during the semifinal round of the season for the first time. The ceremonies were normally held after the championship game.

Tanco, who averaged 26.5 points per game and 7.63 rebounds per game, became the first rookie in ABT history to win the MVP plum.

Players from 2K15 swept the individual awards. Guess dela Cuesta and Jose “Pepe” Canseco were selected as the Most Improved Player and the Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.
