Team ASPAC handed RamBall’s first defeat in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season 5 men’s division eliminations, 87-58 on Saturday, August 10 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
With RamBall having only 8 players in their bench and missing the services of Joseph Gamboa, ASPAC took advantage and blasted the ballgame wide open to lead by as much as 31 points in the third quarter.
Levi Pe Benito made the first triple-double game this season. He finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Kevin Vasquez became the key player of this game, scoring 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Three RamBall players contributed 16 points each: Dudley Flores, Clifford Austria and Franz Alegre.
