Cookies & Team advanced to the men’s division semifinal round of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season 5 after defeating RamBall, 97-72, on Saturday, August 31 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
With this win, Cookies will enter the semifinal round for the fifth straight time since the 2015 2nd Conference.
Norman Ringor dominated the board with 16 rebounds and scored 12 points for a double-double game. Archie Gratil scored 21 points, leading all scorers for Cookies.
Joseph Gamboa mostly carried the scoring chores for Ramball, finishing with 35 points plus 12 rebounds. Dudley Flores comes in second with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Cookies set the game’s tempo from tipoff and controlled the entire game, leading by as many as 30 points by the third quarter.
The semifinals will start on September 14.
