Knights finished the men’s division elimination round of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season 5 with a high note after defeating RamBall, 100-58 on Saturday, August 17 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
They ended their elimination round campaign with a 4-0 record and will have a twice-to-beat advantage against the 4th seeded group B team in the quarterfinals, which will begin in August 31.
The Knights got a headstart in the first quater as they built a double-digit lead in early in the game. The game broke open by the fourth quarter and led by as much as 40 points.
Mark Rivera of the Knights had a double-double output of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Nonoy Sonbise tops all scorers with 23 points, plus 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
RamBall’s Dudley Flores scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
