Team Mille notched their second consecutive win in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season 5 men’s division elimination round by defeating OGs, 80-77 on Saturday, August 24 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
The win gave Mille the last quarterfinals seat, thanks to a 2-2 win-loss record. OGs bowed down with a 0-4 record, and they will be missing the playoff round for the first time since the 2015 2nd Conference.
Mille’s Ton Ulanday scored a career-high 43 points and contributed 16 rebounds for a double-double. Paul Dela Cruz also had a career-high of 12 points. Ryan Acdal had a solid performance of 7 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists.
JP Redelick of OGs contributed 23 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Mhar Paraiso had a double-double game with 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Despite having only 6 players available, Mille managed to hold off the OGs’ rally throughout the game. A final push led by Ulanday secured the victory for Mille.
