Brix Estabillo drained three consecutive rainbow shots in the fourth quarter securing the victory for Team Bumblebees in their best-of-three APCRAA Basketball Tournament semifinal series against Richmond Oilers, 98-79 on Saturday, September 3 at the APC Gymnasium.
Team Bumblebees managed to pull away in the fourth canto after the Oilers kept within distance in the first three quarters.
Estabillo finished with 30 points with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Lester de Luna topped the Bumblebees in scoring with 28 points with 14 rebounds 3, assists and 3 steals. Arie Altre had a season high of 19 points with 2 rebounds.
JP Bayog led the Oilers in scoring with 20 points, with 4 rebounds. Renzo Macaraeg finished with a double double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. JP Masa had 16 points and 7 rebounds.
Game Two of this semifinals series will be played on September 10 at 2:00pm.
