Richmond Oilers notched their second win in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season Six men’s division elimination round after defeating Sibak, 89-61 on Saturday, June 18 at the APC Gymnasium.
Five players from the Oilers have scored 12 points each. JP Masa, Renzo Macaraeg and Jerl Ferrer had a double-double game grabbing 16, 12 and 10 rebounds respectively.
Rookie Elkan Pekson scored a career high 26 points with 7 rebounds. Jay-Rix Dimara contributed 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals to the Sibak cause.
The Oilers took control most of the game, having the lead by as much as 34 points in the fourth quarter.
The Oilers will be back in action on July 2 as they will face Titans while Sibak will be up against Mustangs on July 9.
