Yokoi is Season Six MVP

David Yokoi captured the Most Valuable Player award of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season Six men’s division on Saturday, September 10 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.

The season’s annual awards for the men’s division was given in between the two semifinals series.

Yokoi, who averages 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game was the first MVP awardee from Team Mille since joining the alumni tournament in 2018, after gaining 190 statistical points, 21 player’s votes and 3 ABT committee votes.

Meanwhile, Team Titans’ Justine Hernando got the Rookie of the Year award, while Ryan Go of Team Mille got the nod for the Most Improved Player. Carlo Aboboto got this season’s Defensive Player of the Year.
