ABT Season 7 opens shop

The APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) formally opened its 7th season on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.

Representatives from the nine men’s division division teams took part in the traditional parade of teams. Tournament Commissioner and APCRAA president Dann Garcia gave the opening remarks and thanked the teams for participating this season.

Jaime Juadines, representing Season 6 champions, Team Knights led the players in the oath of sportsmanship.

Dr. Ma. Teresita “Tata” Medado gave the closing remarks, thanking the players for coming back to APC, and formally declared the season open.

Dr. Medado, together with APC Alumni Affairs head Ms. France Marie Sumang and APC Marketing Director and former APCRAA President Mr. Paolo Laurena did the ceremonial toss before the start of the first game of the season between RamBall and Titans.
