Team Gummy Bears got its second straight victory in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 7 elimination round after defeating Team Mamba, 114-67, on Saturday, May 20 at the APC Gymnasium.
It was an wire-to-wire victory as the Gummy Bears hold on to the lead, reaching by as much as 40 points in the fourth quarter.
Guess dela Cuesta was the top scorer of the game, finishing with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks. Caloy Galido and Brix Estabillo contributed 19 points each.
For Team Mamba, Russell Alcance led the team in scoring with 19 points, with 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Ismael Ebrada scored 18 points with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Welmar Esparas had a double double game of 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Team Gummy Bears will be back in action on May 27 going up against Team Mille while Team Mamba will face off against Team OGs on June 3.
