Team Gummy Bears got their third win in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 7 elimination round after defeating Mille, 83-67, on Saturday, May 27 at the APC Gymnasium.
The victory gives Gummy Bears a 3-0 win-loss card, getting the top spot in Group B, while Mille slid to 3rd place with 1-1 record.
Lester de Luna scored 21 points, his season high so far, with 10 rebounds. Guess dela Cuesta also had a double-double game with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Brix Estabillo and Archie Gratil scored 14 points each.
For Mille, Ryan Acdal was their top scorer with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Chris Javier finished with 10 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Both teams will face Sheesh in their next game; Mille will get the first crack on June 3 while Gummy Bears will be up against them on June 10.
