JP Redelick proved that he is still the top three point shooter in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament as OGs got their 2nd victory against Restbak during Season 7’s elimination round, 100-75, on Saturday, May 27 at the APC Gymnasium.
Redelick, the current all-time leader in three point shots made in ABT history scored 22 points, making 6 out of 14 shots beyond the arc. EJ Sulit also had a good shooting night at the three point arc, making 5 out of 15 shots. He finished with 17 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Pepe Canseco dominated the board with 12 rebounds and scored 10 points for a double-double game.
Jeff Bacong was the top scorer for Restbak, scoring 21 points with 6 rebounds. Jonas Calima made five out of seven three point shots, scoring a career high of 19 points.
Team OGs is now in solo second place in Group B with a 2-0 record while Restbak slid down to 4th place with a 1-2 win-loss card.
Both teams will face Mamba as their next oppponent. Getting the first crack will be Team OGs on June 3 followed by Restbak on June 10.
