OGs shut Sheeesh

Team OGs made an explosive debut after beating Team Sheeesh at the continuation of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 7 elimination round, 104-55, on Saturday, May 13 at the APC Gymnasium.

The OGs limited Sheesh to only four points in the first quarter, setting a new record for the lowest points made by a team in a quarter. The previous record was when OGs held Team Legacy to only five points also in the first quarter during their elimination round game in the 2015 Second Conference on November 8, 2015.

Five OG players hit double digit points, led by EJ Sulit with 21 points, 7 out of 15 shots made at the three point area, 1 rebound and 1 steal. Mhar Paraiso had 17 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Jon Timbre had 16 points, powered by 4 out of 8 shots at the three point line, with 6 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. JP Redelick and Sean Montemayor scored 14 and 11 points respectively.

For Team Sheeesh, JR Quinia led the team with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. James Armedilla, Chris Hernandez and James Magbitang scored 8 points each.

Both teams will face Team Restbak on their next games. Sheeesh will face them first on May 20 while OGs will be next on May 27.
