Oilers stays unbeaten, survive RamBall comeback
Richmond Oilers survived a 2nd half RamBall onslaught as they kept their undefeated record intact, 83-76, at the continuation of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 7 elimination round on Saturday, June 10 at the APC Gymnasium.
The Oilers currently has a 4-0 card and is one win away in sweeping Group A while RamBall is tied with Team Knights in third place with a 2-2 win-loss record.
Justine Abequibel led the charge for the Oilers, scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Team captain JP Bayog scored 23 points with 6 assists.
For RamBall, Jaycee Magsalos was their top scorer, with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. Arvin Masaoy comes in second with 12 points, with 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Both teams will be back in action on June 17 as the Oilers will face Team Titans while RamBall will play a crucial game against Team Knights.
