Elite Hoopers will advance to the quarterfinal round of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8, thanks to a very important win against Team Restbak, 76-73, on Saturday, August 3 at the APC Gymnasium.
The Hoopers will face Group A leader Krispy Team in the quarterfinals with a twice-to-win disadvantage.
Levi Pe Benito finished with a double-double output of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Peter Abarracoso also had a double double game; 20 points and 12 assists, with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Charles Digo contributed 12 points while AJ Navye scored 10 points.
For Team Restbak, Jeff Bacong led all scorers with 27 points with 23 rebounds. Christian Gabon had 13 points and 12 rebounds while Lance Casoy had 11 points.
