Defending Season 7 champions Krispy Team spoiled Team Mischief’s debut in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament with a resounding 124-41 victory on Saturday, June 15 at the APC Gymnasium.
Krispy Team broke the record for the largest winning margin in league history with 83 points, shattering the previous record set by Team Knights on June 10, 2023 after they defeated Team Sibak with an 81-point lead.
Rookie Daniel Oamil made a spectacular debut for Krispy Team with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Alex Tagle had a near triple-double output of 20 points and 12 rebounds with 8 assists and 3 steals.
For the Mischiefs, Emman Solomon was the lone player that had a double-digit scoring output of 12 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Krispy Team will play their second game on June 29 against Team Knights while Team Mischiefs will be up against Team Kings on June 22.
