Down with 20 points in the third quarter, defending champions Krispy Team down rivals Team Knights, 86-77 at the continuation of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 eliminations on Saturday, June 29 at the APC Gymnasium.
The comeback was propelled with a 15-0 run in the fourth quarter, led by Brix Estabillo, who finished with 12 points, 10 scored in the final period. Rookie Daniel Oamil top all scorers for Krispy Team with 22 points, 3 rebound and 3 assists.
For Team Knights, Jhonel de Luna contributed 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists while Mark Rivera and Rainiel Montaril added 21 and 16 points respectively.
Krispy Team will be back in action on July 13 facing RamBall while the Knights will face Team Mischiefs on July 6.
