Defending APCRAA Basketball Tournament champions Krispy Team is on the verge of entering the championship round for the fourth straight season after winning Game 1 of their best-of-three semifinals series against Stage One OGs, 101-83, on Saturday, August 17 at the APC Gymnasium.
Guess dela Cuesta, one of the frontrunners in the Season MVP race led all scorers for Krispy Team, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Brix Estabillo added 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists while Norman Ringor scored 10 points with 2 rebounds.
For Stage One OGs, JP Redelick led the team with 21 points with 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Sean Montemayor scored 18 points with 5 rebounds and 1 assist.
Game 2 of the semifinals series will be played on August 24 at 4:00pm.
