Stage One OGs opened their campaign in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 elimination round with a dominating win against Team Sibak, 129-64, on Saturday, June 15 at the APC Gymnasium.
This extends the losing streak of Team Sibak to 11 games, dating back from their debut in Season 5.
New recruit Genesis Reyes had a resounding debut performance for the Stage One OGs with 31 points, 10 rebound, 3 assists and 2 steals. Sean Montemayor also helped in scoring with 24 points with 4 rebounds nd 6 assists. Veteran JP Redelick scored 12 points with 4 out 9 markers made in the three point arc. He also scored his 1000th career point in the game via a three point shot at the 4:44 mark of the 2nd quarter.
For Team Sibak, Jay-Rix Dimara had a double-double performance of 24 points and 12 rebounds with 2 steals. Darrel Insigne contributed 13 points, 5 rebounds 2, assists and 3 steals.
Stage One OGs will be back in action on June 29 against Team Restbak while Team Sibak will be facing Team Kaizen on June 22.
