With only 8 players available in their squad, Season 6 champions Team Knights notched their first victory for this season as they defeated RamBall, 74-63, at the continuation of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 on Saturday, June 22 at the APC Gymnasium.
New recruit Rainiel Montaril led the Knights in scoring with 20 points, followed by team captain Jhonel de Luna with 15 points. Season 6 MVP Mark Rivera dominated the boards with a career high 23 rebounds.
For RamBall, Arvin Masaoy contributed the most points with 20, followed by Jaycee Magalos with 14 points.
The next game for Team Knights will be on June 29 against defending champions Krispy Team while RamBall will play their second game against Team Titans on July 6.
