Elite Hoopers won their debut game in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 elimination round at the expense of Team Kaizen, 79-71, on Saturday, June 29 at the APC Gymnasium.
Levi Pe Benito made his presence felt with a double-double game with 21 points and 10 rebounds with 4 assists and 2 blocks. Peter Abarracoso added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the Elite Hoopers.
For Kaizen, team captain Khenjie Sanchez scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for a double-double effort. Christian Tragico added 13 points and 11 rebounds for their team.
The next game for the Hoopers will be played on July 6 against Stage One OGs while Kaizen will be up against Team Restbak on July 13.
