Richmond Oilers finishes the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 elimination round on a high note after defeating Elite Hoopers, 90-86 on Saturday, July 27 at the APC Gymnasium.
The Oilers will finish at the top of the Group B standings with a 4-1 record while the Elite Hoopers will need to win a do-or-die game against Restbak on August 3 in order to advance to the quarterfinals.
Lean Carreion led all scorers for the Oilers with 21 points, 5 out 10 shots in the three point region plus 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Lavesh Chandnani finished with a double double output of 19 points and 15 rebounds.
For the Hoopers, Carlo Aboboto had a double-double game, contributing 23 points, 17 rebounds and 3 assists, while Joel Baloro and Peter Abarracoso added 20 and 19 points respectively.
