Team Restbak kept their chance for a quarterfinals berth after defeating Sibak, 86-71, at the continuation of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 8 elimination round on Saturday, July 27 at the APC Gymnasium.
Resbak will need to win their final elimination round game against Elite Hoopers on August 3 in order for them to advance to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Team Sibak, is currently locked at third place in Group B and their seeding may change depending on the results of the games on August 3.
Jeff Bacong had a career high scoring output of 29 points with 17 rebounds and 3 steals, while Ronald Genete contributed 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
For Sibak, Jess Carrillo led all scorers with 26 points with 7 rebounds and 2 steals. Jay-Rix Dimara had a double-double contribution of 13 points and 15 rebounds with 5 assists and 2 steals.
