Knights slay Sibak

Team Knights kick off their title defense in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 9 elite division in the right foot as they defeated Team Sibak, 84-69 on Saturday, May 24 at the APC Gymnasium.

The defending champions led the game by as much as 16 points in the fourth quarter after their scoring blitz that started in the third quarter.

Nonoy Sonbise led the Knights charge with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Mark Rivera and Raprap Montaril contributed 15 points each.

For Sibak, rookie Maurce Beltran led all scorers with 28 points, with 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Julian Nones contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds.

The Knights will be back in action on June 7 to face Veni Vidi Vici while Sibak will be up against Ternion OGs on May 31.
