Two returning teams have officially registered for the upcoming APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament (AABT) 2nd Conference, while at least 4 more teams – including the men’s basketball 1st Conference champs – are seen to sign up this week.
Team OG’s and Team Gladiators of the men’s and women’s division, respectively, submitted their lineups on Saturday, August 15.
The OG’s, headed by multiple-time Asia Pacific College (APC) Engineering Week basketball tournament champion Jeb Agito, have revamped their lineup. They would now be comprised of players from their college-days championship team, plus alumni who have previously played in APC’s intramurals in the mid-2000s.
JP Redelick, the first conference leading scorer and a member of the Mythical Five, will also see action with the OG’s, who will be donning black jerseys.
Meanwhile, Team Gladiators, the last conference’s Women’s Division runner-up, will be known by a different monicker on opening day.
Led by 2015 BS-IT alumna Marion Chloe Cambay, they have beefed up their line-up with new graduates from the School of Computer Science and Information Technology (SOCSIT), while keeping their core players intact.
Multimedia Arts student Ella Taroma and fresh graduate Jenny Francisco will also return for their team, which will now adopt red as their team color.

Also expected to join and register this week in the men’s division are:
Team Warriors, the first conference champions, with team captain George Nartia
Team ASPAC Boys, headed by VG Agdamag
And, a new team comprised of Batch 2015 SOCSIT graduates, led by Jeff Montojo
For the women’s division, the Dream Team, with team captain KC Carillo, is also expected to submit their lineup.
The deadline for submission of team rosters is on Saturday, August 22.
