2k15 trumps Mille debut

Team 2k15 notched their first victory in the 2018 season of the APCRAA Basektball Tournament (ABT) elimination round by defeating expansion Team Mille, 94-79 on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.

2015 First Conference mythical five awardee Guess Dela Cuesta made his presence felt to help Team 2k15, dropping 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in his first game since skipping last season’s tournament. New recruit Abe Rashid Tanco had a good performance in his debut game, with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

Mille’s Ton Ulanday had a double-double game, with 17 points, 22 rebounds and 3 assists. Chris Javier added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists on his team’s output.

With only five Mille players available at tipoff, 2k15 took advantage by taking control of the first quarter, however as more Mille players arrived, they were able to tie the game in the second quarter. Attrition set in the 2nd half as 2k15 broke the game wide open, leading by as many as 18 points before the final buzzer.

Both teams will be playing on July 21 as Mille will go up against Team Bumblebees at 5:00pm while 2k15 will be facing expansion team Knights at 8:00pm.
