Richmond Oilers notched their second victory in the ongoing APCRAA Basketball Tournament (ABT) Season 5 men’s division elimination round after defeating OGs, 91-73 on Saturday, July 27 at the Asia Pacific College Gymnasium.
The Oilers took advantage of their shooting and defense, erecting a 30 point lead by the 2nd quarter.
2018 Rookie-MVP Abe Tanco of the Oilers finished with a near triple-double game of 21 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Marc Cerdeña contributed 18 points, with 4 out of 9 shooting in the 3 point area plus 13 rebounds and 2 assists.
OGs’ JP Redelick led all players in scoring with 33 points, with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. AJ Yambao and Mhar Paraiso contributed 11 and 10 points respectively.
