Season 4 champions Team 2k18 made a resounding return in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament after defeating Team Knights, 61-58 on Saturday, June 4 at the APC Gymnasium.
Guess dela Cuesta led 2k18 by scoring 20 points with 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Edwin Gratil scored 9 points and grabbed 3 boards.
Knights’ new recruits Christian Tragico and Carlo Aboboto led the team in scoring with 21 and 13 points respectively.
Team Knights led most of the game, reaching as high as 13 points in the 2nd quarter. By the second half, 2k18 continued to chip away the deficit, tying the game at 48-all with six minutes left in the game. Both teams exchanging leads and tied the game multiple times before Archie Gratil and Joel Carag scored two buckets, securing the win to 2k18.
2k18 will play their next game on June 11 against Alpha while Knights will return in action on June 18 facing OGs.
