Team Titans won their second victory in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season Six men’s elimination round after defeating Team Mustangs, 96-66 on Saturday, June 25 at the APC Gymnasium.
Rookie Justin Hernando had his best game this season, scoring 28 points with 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Joel Lopez and Rey Prayco contributed 18 and 15 points respectively. Deo Aldo had a near double-double game with 9 points and 15 rebounds.
For Team Mustangs, Russel Alcance led all scorers with 13 points with 4 rebounds. Romulus Gloria contributed 12 points for the team.
The Titans had control of the ballgame from the opening tip, leading by as much as 32 points in the fourht quarter.
Team Mustangs will be playing their final elimination game on July 9 against Team Sibak while Team Titans will be back on July 16 facing Richmond Oilers.
