Team OGs advances to the APCRAA Basketball Tournament men’s division quarterfinals after giving Team Sibak their fifth straight loss in their play-in round game, 125-73 on Saturday, July 30 at the APC Gymnasium.
The OGs have also tied the record for most team points in a game, which was set by Team ASPAC during their game against Team Mille on September 8, 2018.
All players have scored at least two points with both teams only having seven players available.
Levi Pe Benito recorded his fourth career triple double with 16 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists. Rolem Macaspac had a career high of 37 points with 19 rebounds and 4 assists.
Art Plan lead all scorers for Sibak with 20 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. VG Agdamag had a double-double game of 18 points and 12 rebounds with 6 assists.
The OGs will be up against Group B leader Team Mille with a twice to win disadvantage starting August 13.
