Team Mustangs will enter the play-in round of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament season six men’s division with a win against Team Sibak, 86-66 on Saturday, July 23 at the APC Gymnasium.
Team Mustangs finished fourth in the Group A while Team Sibak is still looking for their first victory this season.
Carl Lavarro of Team Mustangs top all scorers with 26 points, mostly from the second half. Welmar Esparas had a double-double output of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
For Team Sibak, Jay-rix Dimara scored 21 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. Kevin Garcia contributed 17 points.
Team Mustangs hold on to the lead most of the game and blew the game open by the third quarter.
