Team Predators closed out the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season Six Women’s Division best-of-five series with a victory against Team Starks, 44-40, on Saturday, September 24 at the APC Gymnasium.
Team Starks have won the series, three games to two, capturing their first ABT championship.
Michelle Alison of Team Predators had a double-double game with 16 points and 19 rebounds with three assists. Jiezl Turo and Veronica Chua scored 8 points each. Eulalie Alba had a career high 6 points and 3 rebounds.
For the Starks, Chanty Saldivar led all scorers with 18 points with 6 rebounds. CJ Bendulo finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Viel Famillaran scored 6 points and grabbed 7 boards.
