Aboboto pushed Knights to first ABT title

Team Knights have finally reached the promise land.

After two consecutive runners-up finishes, they have won their first APCRAA Basketball Tournament championship, after defeating defending champions, Team Bumblebees, 76-74, in Game 2 of their best-of-three finals series on Saturday, September 24 at the APC Gymnasium.

Carlo Aboboto scored the biggest basket of his career as he made a driving layup, to give the Knights a two point cushion, with only four seconds remaining in the game. Aboboto finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds. He also became the 10th member of the 500-points club after scoring his 500th point at the 5:27 mark of the 1st quarter.
