OGs survive Mille comeback in OT

Team OGs stand firm despite of a Mille resurgence in the fourth quarter, earning them a victory in overtime at the final day of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament elimination round, 95-87 on Saturday, June 24 at the APC Gymnasium.

While team Mille trailing mostly during regulation, they were able to tie the game at 82-all thanks to a three point basket from Ryan Acdal with only 6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

In the extension period, Team OGs surged on and was able to hold off Mille to only five points.

Pepe Canseco finished with a 20-20 game, scoring 21 points, grabbing 21 board with 1 assist and 2 steals. Ralph Artigas also became a huge factor with the OGs, with 19 points and 23 rebounds.

For Team Mille, Chris Javier was their top scorer with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Ryan Acdal comes in second with 19 points, 4 out of 7 in the three point arc plus 6 assists.

Team OGs will face Team Titans in the quarterfinal round on July 1.
