Shana Santos also helped with the scoring chores for their team by having a double-double performance, with 10 points and 13 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Dream Team led the first three quarters of the game but a late surge from Chloe Cambay and Jenny Francisco, who also had a double-double game, kept them within distance and took a one point lead, 37-36, with 1:34 remaining in the game. However, Francisco was forced out of the game due to cramps after making the basket that got their team&#8217;s first taste of the lead.<\/p>\n<p>After Carrillo made a jumpshot to get back the lead, Santos stole the ball in the next possession and made a field goal to seal the win for Dream Team.<\/p>\n<p>The next game between the two teams will be on September 26.<\/p>\n<p>Dream Team (40): Carrillo 12, Santos 10, Nasara 6, Alquiros 6, Cortez 4, Flores 2, Valdez 0<br \/>\nRebels (37): Francisco 16, Cambay 9, Malanay 6, Taroma 4, Ramirez 2, Alimodian 0, Fernando 0, Ibon 0, Mercado 0, Caras 0<\/p>\n<p>Boxscores: 16-9, 22-17, 32-22, 40-37<\/p>\n<p>LiveStats results can be found in this link.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dream Team survived a fourth-quarter comeback by Team Rebels to win the first game of the AABT 2nd Conference Women&#8217;s Division, 40-37 on Saturday, September 12.
