Team Warriors, the defending First Conference Champions, tallied their second win for the APCRAA Alumni Basketball Tournament (AABT) 2nd Conference as they beat Team OGs, 67-58 on Saturday, October 3, at the APC Gymnasium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this win, they now share the top spot in the standings with the Bumblebees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even without its leading scorer Archie Gratil, the Warriors still managed to get the victory with the help of Pepe Canseco and Guess dela Cuesta, who both had double-double figures in points and rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While three of the OGs produced double-digit points, this was not enough to secure the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warriors was leading for the whole game, by as much as 20 points ahead of the OGs. A fourth-quarter spark led by JP Redelick decreased the Warriors lead to two points with 4:40 remaining in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Warriors called a timeout, Canseco and dela Cuesta orchestrated a 6-0 run to regain the momentum. They cruised through the remainder of the game until the final buzzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warriors will be playing again on October 10 against newcomers Burn-Out while the OGs will be up against the Engineering All-Stars on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
