Team Bumblebees won their third straight game in the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season Six men’s division elimination round after routing Team Titans, 69-63 on Saturday, June 18 at the APC Gymnasium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The win made the Bumblebees the only undefeated team in the elimination round, leading the Group A standings with a 3-0 record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brix Estabillo led all scorers for the Bumblebees with 31 points, with 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Norman Ringor contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds while Arie Altre had 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Titans, Justin Hernando contributed 11 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists while John Al-ag had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Titans took control of the game in the first half, leading by as much as 12 points. By the third quarter, the Bumblebees inched closer and took the lead for the first time. The Titans were able to tie the game by the fourth quarter but Estabillo and Altre held off any Titans run as they pushed the Bumblebees lead until the final buzzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Titans will be back in action on June 25 as they face Team Mustangs while Team Bumblebees will be facing Richmond Oilers on July 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
