The second annual Alumni General Assembly (GA) was held last July 1, 2017 at the MPH1 to talk about past and future events involving the alumni association. This event promotes close relationships amongst the alumni even outside the college. The GA was organized by members of the APC Rams Alumni Association (APCRAA) in cooperation with the Alumni Affairs Office headed by Ms. Johanna Minglana and Ms. Emma Charmene Estocia.
Benefits of being an alumni of APC were restated, such as having their own alumni benefits card. Additionally, the GA isn’t the only APCRAA holds for hte association. Last November 2016, the Alumni Homecoming event was held at the SMX, Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Throughout the event, a lot of concerns were discussed along with suggestions for more tournaments and activities. The heads of the organization said they’ll work on the suggestions to bring it to life.
In intermission, Pia Paula Padilla, a Grade 12 student of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand performed her own spoken word piece. The last performer was Nikki Nava of Batch 2014 who sang her own original compositions with Augstus Amalejo, a college student.
Before ending the event, Dianne Mercado of Batch 2013 announced that she will be stepping down as president of the alumni association. Consequently, Vice President for Alumni Development Dann Garcia of Batch 2006 was appointed to succeed her as the new president, with his term starting on July 15.
